How did this patient hear about Sans Souci? Hospital
Details of Experience:
Patient was admitted to Sans Souci Rehabilitation Center from Montefiore Hospital on November 11, 2015 with a Malignant Neoplasm and extensive Muscle weakness to his Bilateral Extremities. Upon his Admission to Therapy, Patient needed fully extensive help in all his ADL’S and was Non-ambulatory. Patient was a healthy person and only ate nutritious foods which definitely aided his path to recovery. He was also blessed to have family constantly by his side supporting him through his rough times and they served as motivation for him to get better in a hurry. Patient didn’t have the easiest time despite all the support he was given. Getting better from the sickness he had needs someone to have patience and perseverance to combat all the battles and curveballs thrown at him on a constant basis.
He overcame adversity and made great progress every week he was here. When he was discharged from Sans Souci, he no longer needed help from anyone for his basic ADL’S, just his cane for short distances and a rolling walker for long distances. He came a long way from when he was admitted when he couldn’t do anything himself. With much gratitude to our Clinical and Therapy team, he walked out of Sans Souci on December 30th 2015 looking forward to not being reliant on anyone other than himself.
