Emily received her BS in nutrition from the University of Rhode Island and her MS in Nutrition at Stony Brook University. She completed her dietetic internship at Danbury Hospital. Emily has been working in healthcare for 11 years, and her love for nutrition began at a young age when she was inspired by a dietician who worked with her family. That is when she realized that she had a passion for health and nutrition and turned it into a career. She enjoys making connections through food. Helping others reach their long-term health goals through diet and lifestyle interventions is extremely rewarding. Emily loves spending time with her family. She is the proud Mom of two toddlers who keep her very busy. She also loves going for walks with her dog, reading, and listening to music.
