Melvin Panameno, COTA/L

Melvin attended Mercy College. He started working in healthcare in 2018 as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Over that time, he had the opportunity to work with the Geriatric and Pediatric populations across school-based, sensory gym, home care, and SNF settings. He was greatly influenced by two uncles, both of whom have been Occupational Therapists for over 25 years. Having worked at Sans Souci a few years ago as a treating COTA and now as an ADOR, Melvin has a different perspective on what goes on during a patient's recovery. As ADOR, he applies his clinical background to support a team dynamic centered on delivering exceptional patient care. He enjoys spending his spare time with loved ones, playing baseball with friends, and watching horror movies. Originally from Brooklyn and Queens, he relocated to Yonkers three years ago. He worked with CareRite/Sans Souci from 2022 to 2023 before going into Pediatrics full-time, but he always knew that if he ever wanted to pursue Geriatric care full-time again, it would be with Sans Souci.
